Consult Experience

DURING OUR CONSULTATION, I HAVE 5 PRIMARY GOALS

  1. Give you (and your partner if applicable) time to slow down, create space, and begin to skillfully acknowledge & address the reason you are seeking out professional support

  2. Get a shared sense of each other’s personalities and individual styles, to see if we ‘click’

  3. Faciltate an experience of what it is like to work within the Choose Heart modality

  4. Discuss how I would work with you or your relationship, as well as the logistics of our initial program

  5. Answer any questions or clear up any confusion you may have

*Please note that you do not need to have a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer by the end of our session regarding the decision to work together. I encourage you to take some days to reflect on your experience before getting back to me.

Experience has shown that attending to each of these points in our consultation supports you to make a deeply informed & accurate decision about committing to this work.

After our consultation, my assistant Russell will follow up with general program information, as well as being your point of contact should you decide to continue our work together.

 
 

Program Structure

SETTING UP YOUR CONSULTATION

  • My assistant Russell will walk you through the scheduling process via email; all emails will come from Office@ChooseHeart.com

  • This consultation is offered at no cost to you

  • Our consultation will happen via Google Meet, and last 60 to 75 minutes

  • To start the scheduling process, click the button below

SESSION ELEMENTS

  • All sessions are conducted via Google Meet

  • Sessions for individuals begin at 60 minutes; sessions for couples begin at 75 minutes

  • Sessions can be extended as needed by 15-minute intervals up to a total of 90 minutes; sessions longer than 90 minutes are available upon request

PROGRAM RHYTHM & DURATION

  • Your initial program progresses in 2 phases:

    • Phase 1 is 6 sessions over the first 6-8 week, generally once a week

    • Phase 2 is 6 sessions over the following 3 months, generally as 2 sessions per month

    • Together, these 2 phases of work add up to 12 sessions over ~5 months

  • As you progress through these phases, you are supported to reflect on if this initial program is sufficient, or if you wish to continue our work beyond Phase 2. This decision is always up to you.

COMPLETING OUR WORK

  • You may choose to complete our work at any time

  • At the beginning of our program, I ask that you commit to one 'completion session’ before finishing

  • If there are any session credits remaining upon completion, you will be reimbursed via your payment preference
